Gary- It was an absolute pleasure meeting you and your wonderful wife on the plaza and seeing your reactions to your baby’s new home. For the record, I got goosebumps just seeing your progress artwork and work photos in this blog! Your art for this Kindness mural, and your execution of the work, warms mine and Diane’s hearts in ways you may never know. You’re one of our real heroes. Thank you most sincerely for your amazing, amazing creation! I wish I could look at it every single day❤️🤠
Thanks so much for all your work to make this happen, Roger, you and Diane both! Such a pleasure meeting you the other day and looking forward to possible further collaboration down the road.
I must say that I’ve recently been disappointed in Tucson, too many buildings being torn down to build towers or converted into trendy gentrified businesses and too much new Phoenix looking development. This story gives me hope, thanks Gary.
I hear you. This particular developer has at least shown considerable interest in the arts. The intersection of the arts and corporations is storied, to be sure.
Roger also recently found out (talking to Jeannette) that I also play music. I think they may stop through the summer so maybe in the Fall...perhaps M2M?
Also looking forward to scrutinizing the mural the next time I see it to see if I can see the seams. (Lots of “see”s in that see-ntence...)
There are missing tiles and hope to be able to replace them...if not, it gives it a 'buried in Pompeii' look.
Beautiful and inspiring!
It's a beautiful mural, Gary, and I am so glad that it was preserved and reinstalled!
Thanks, Joanne...most fortunate all around!
What a beautiful piece and message and for it to live on as the showcase message in the courtyard is beyond wonderful.
Beautiful work, G!!, and I am also enamored with the Dodge City stoic
I was 23 when I shot him and I reckon I'm about the stoic's age now...wackadoodle.

Really cool, Gary.

I've always loved this mural and didn't know it was one of yours. Wonderful they resurrected it and the mural and the message live on.
Gorgeous! So glad it was preserved and re-integrated into a new installation!
You and me both, brother!
Fantastic! I love that your work has a new life and continues to spread the love! Well done, you.
Thanks so much, Kel, and nice to see you here!
How cool. Art resurrection story just around Easter 🐣!! Wanna see.
Right? We'll go when you're here!
You do everything artistically creative, MacMan! So freakin’ talented, it outta be a crime!!!
Well, I was in handcuffs once...
What a wild story! And I love the happy ending. When will the Carnivaleros play at the Stone & Congress intersection?
