Tuesday’s Cloud Seeding
Music and Life

Tonight is going to be festive as Dropped By Birds takes the stage at Monterey Court for Fat Tuesday! The kitchen will have some special Cajun food ready to roll you, and the band has worked up some New Orleans tunes to rock you. Joie de vivre!
2.
CBS, pressured by the *rumpers, chose not to air Stephen Colbert’s interview with James Talarico due to his rising popularity in RED TEXAS. Thanks to YouTube, you can watch it yourself.

Here are a couple actions that we all can make with little effort that perhaps will have a big impact.
— The ongoing Trump administration has deployed over 10.000 troops to date on the Southern border. As human crossings have significantly decreased, the military personnel have now been assigned a new mission: To install vast amounts of concertina wire in some of the most remote and ecologically sensitive areas of the border; these areas represent the last opportunities for wildlife migration, free movement and survival.
Concertina wire has been proven to be an ineffective human deterrent as people have found simple ways to move across it, unfortunately, this is not the case for wildlife.
The already fragmented border landscape now poses another deadly threat to wildlife, the concertina wire now goes up into mountain ranges and inside wildlife refuges, national forests, and other public lands.
You can go here and sign a petition sponsored by the Sierra Club.
— Remember the East Wing of the White House? Remember the giant ballroom that the tech billionaires have agreed to fund in its place? The National Trust for Historic Preservation is making a gallant effort to stop this. And we can help.
Thanks to the National Trust, we have until March 4 to submit comments about the ballroom to the National Capital Planning Commission. You can make a comment through this link. (click on Submit Comment). PLEASE NOTE, the project is called East Wing Modernization on the pull down menu.
Here is a template that might help you to compose your own wording.
I oppose the spending of $300 million on this project, which was initiated without the proper authorization, permits, or design review. It is not a modernization project but rather a complete razing of American history. I want this project canceled, and the East Wing rebuilt and restored to its former design. No one is above the law and to permit this project to go ahead without penalizing those who broke the law would be an affront to all law-abiding Americans.
And now…
