The Absentminded Possessor

I was on the horn (yes, kids, horn used to mean an old fashioned, clunky plastic device you could speak into and hear others, that had coiled wires, bells, whistles, and was tethered to a wall socket - see my 40 year old phone pictured below) with one of my best buddies in Kansas and he mentioned I’ve been going a bit dark lately in my posts. Yes, yes I have. But now it’s time for much lighter fare.

Speaking of the horn, when I am talking on a similar device, or doing some other type of ordinary task wherein my hands are free, I tend to gravitate toward one of my #2 pencils and saw away on any handy piece of paper. I have a small collection of these doodles from over the years that somehow didn’t get tossed in the can. Enjoy!
