It’s dang cool that I’m writing my 200th post lounging in a loft in one of the most beautiful cities on the planet. We’re now in Porto, Portugal for a couple days, then back to Lisboa mid-week. Narrow streets, still a fair amount of tourists in October, young ones (teenage to early 30s) hanging out everywhere, too many cars, fish, fabulous architecture, pretty great air but a pervasive smell of diesel, stone and brick paved hilly streets.
But before we arrived in Porto, we spent a lovely evening in Lisboa, after three flights (Tucson/Dallas/Madrid/Lisboa) and being exhausted and hyped up by the planes landing successfully, and ventured out a little bit for food and touristy gawking. This post, as I’m in a hurry to leisurely stroll the boulevards, will be a few pics from Lisboa shot Monday evening and Tuesday morning before boarding the train to Porto. Enjoy!
That’s all for now…no time for the usual cartoon. Vejo você em breve!
Fall in Portugal
Just damn cool Gary
As always great pics. Are you really getting those pics of Lisbon and Porto on your phone? I can’t get decent pics on my phone. Looks like you’re having a fab time
